L.I- we are learning to write a simple prayer. 

Success Criteria: I am successful when I write a prayer I can use to pray during lent.

Thank you Jesus for looking after me and my family. Help those people who are building our class room and hope that they will finish it by term two. Look after our teachers.And bless my brothers and sisters.

The Day I Ssved Emily-By Kena

  L.I- W.A.L.T- write a recount.

Success Criteria:I know I am successful when I write a recount about how I saved Emily using full stops and capital letters in order.

Last Thursday down by the river I was fishing by myself. I heard a loud scream and I saw a little girl in the river. she was shouting for help because she was drowning.I dashed into the cold water and I pulled her out from the cold water I had my clothes on and I was shivering when I came out.

After I saved Emily her mum said ''thank you very much"and I said "youre welcome". Then Emily went home and her mother sent her to bed. Emily never went to the river again.

Grandma and Grandpa By Kena

                
      L.I- We are  learning to write a recount.
Success Criteria:I know I am successful when I write a recount about Grandpa and Grandma using full stops and capital letters.             
On Friday I went to grandma and grandpa's house. We bought towel  to lay on. We went under a tall tree and we ate some of the food we brought.  I ate fruits then I had a drink.

Grandma and Grandpa took us shopping. We got some books to colour in.Then we went to where the clothes are and we bought  some for me, for grandma and grandpa.

Then we drove to the movies and we watch Moana. My grandma thought the movie was very funny. My favourite part of the movie was when Moana was making her boat so she can find Maui. 

 Finally we went back to grandpa and grandma house and we had Mc Donald's  for dinner.Lastly  we went out side and we sat on the table.I told them that I was tired and I went sleep.




  

Ash Wednesday.By Kena

L.I- W.A.L.T.- write a recount.

Success Criteria: I know I am successful when I write a story about Ash Wednesday in order, using full stops and capital letters correctly.      
                                             
On  Ash Wednesday we went outside the church. We are going to burn pictures that we draw about our favourites. Before we burn the pictures we had to read them out. Then we gave it to father and  he burned it.

We went inside of the church and we started to sing a song. Father Andrew said, "good morning brothers and sisters" and we replied "Good morning father."

Next, he read the gospel. After that he put a sign of a cross on our forehead using ashes.

There were lots of people, so  Ms Bullot helped Father          Andrew. Later Father Andrew gave out the bread and wine. Finally we got up and went back to the class room.
